Ruairi McGuckin started peoplesound.io in 2016 after seeing a clear business opportunity. Ruairi was getting approached frequently by startups which had smaller budgets on the agency side. This often led to missed business opportunity, so he often guided the conversation to vendors or solutions within his network. After the birth of his son in early 2018 and a move to be closer to family back in Ireland, Ruairi decided to focus on building the peoplesound consulting business. And here we are.

Ruairi McGuckin
Ruairi is a mobile marketing and advertising professional with 17 years' experience delivering positive change for leading digital media and entertainment organizations. Having worked end-to-end across the LUMA landscape, he has led the revenue driving function on both the brand and publishing side. A marketer at heart, his skills include sought after expertise in user acquisition and growth strategies. Always open to a challenge, Ruairi moved publisher side with AD-X and Criteo, where as a founding team member he acquired a deeper knowledge of mobile technology, analytics and the broader app advertising ecosystem. In his role at Fetch, Ruairi was part of the executive leadership team and has had responsibility building and managing global cross functional teams and owning the P&L for Los Angeles. Ruairi brings a unique mix of 'agency', ‘ad tech’ and ‘start up’ experience to the table.
